IENE

IENE é a sigla que usamos ao nos referirmos a nós mesmos. Tipo G4, E-M-I, FRIENDS... pois é, aqui também a tradição persiste. Qual tradição? Encontrar um grupo de pessoas que não se conheciam e de repente passam a viver momentos incríveis. Ah sim, IENE é a primeira letra dos nossos nomes juntos.
IENE is an acronym we use here to refer to ourselves. Just like G4, E-M-I, FRIENDS... even here, the tradition is still alive. What is the tradition? the one where I find a group of people who didn't know each other and from a certain point we all start to live incredible moments together. Oh, by the way, IENE consists of the first letters of our names.

Erlyn (Filipinas)
Sem dúvida a história que mais me lembra a Erlyn é a de quando eu estava morrendo de fome e não tinha nada pra cozinhar, nem tinha nada naquelas máquina. Tinha acabado de conhecer essa pessoa, liguei na cara de pau mesmo, puxando um papo que terminou com um "Então, sabe o que é... é que eu tô com fome!". Ela gentilmente fez um miojo e shoyu que ela ainda tinha! Inesquecível. É daquelas pessoas que você pode conversar horas e não se cansar ;)
The first memory about Erlyn will always be the infamous night I called her so hungry without anything to cook and nothing in the machines outside the dorm. I had just met her the other day. I shamelessly called her, started a random talk where I ended up saying "So.. you know what? I'm so hungry!". She's one of those people with whom you can have long hours conversations without running out of topics.

Nico (Indonésia)
Esse cara é uma figuraça. Eu conheci o Nico num dia depois da aula que eu não sabia onde era o Correio [pra variar] e ele estava indo pra lá [ficava dentro do Hospital! eu nunca ia adivinhar...]. Quando saímos de lá, ele me pediu uma ajuda similar, queria saber onde era uma loja de informática chamada "PC Depot". Obviamente, eu é que não sabia, mas mesmo assim disse que ia com ele. O engraçado é que ele falou, não precisa não. E eu não tava mais nem perguntando, já estava dizendo que ia e pronto.
*Esse acabou sendo um dia "histórico" pra gente, pois foi o primeiro dia que todos saímos pela primeira vez. Já que liguei pra Erlyn e pra Eng dizendo que elas deveriam ir também e que não demorassem porque o Nico estava doente [que nada, só papo-furado pra reunir todo mundo]. É engraçado como eu faço essas coisas sem nem me perceber... hahaha... como não lembrar o começo dos Friends... ;)
This guy is my bro here in Japan. I met him one day after classes when I asked him the post office location. coincidentally, He's was also going to the post office that day. After the help he gave me, he asked me if I knew a computer store near the area called PC Depot. Obviously, He was asking to the wrong person. Despite the fact that I had no idea where the store was located, I decided to go with him all the way there. Of course, he said that wouldn't be necessary, but I wasn't even asking anymore, I just said I'm going with you and that's all. [remember, I had just met him! hahaha...]
*This ended up being a historic day for the 4 of us. That was the first day we were all hanging out together. Why? Oh yeah... after deciding by myself to go with Nico, I called Erlyn and Eng "inviting" them [actually, ordering them to come with us]. I even said Nico was sick so they wouldn't take too long to show up [only an excuse to gather everybody]. It's funny even for me sometimes how I manage to create these situations without being fully aware of the reason.. hahaha... It reminds me when the FRIENDS were together first time... ;)

Eng (Filipinas)
É a aquela pessoa que está sempre feliz. Está chovendo, nevando, com fome, cansada, mas está lá pronta pra cantar uma bela canção [literalmente]. É uma pessoa de visão artística bastante apurada. Entende de design e fotografia. Além de tudo, toca violão e canta [dizem que canta bem!..=P].
She has a bubbly and shining personality. She's always happy, even when she's not. It might be raining, snowing, she's might be hungry, tired, but she's always ready to sing a song with you [literally]. She has an accurate artistic vision for things like design and photography. As if it was not enough, she can play guitar and sing [people use to say she's good!...=P].
